  • No behavioral analytics or usage profiling
  • No third-party ad SDKs
  • Minimal data collection — only what's needed for flight queries

The Distinction

Most flight tracking apps harvest your location data. They know where you are, where you’re going, how often you fly, and which airports you frequent. That data gets packaged and sold to airlines, travel companies, and advertising networks.

Zephster tracks flights — not users. The app shows you real-time flight information for US airspace. It doesn’t need your location to do that. It doesn’t build a profile of your travel habits. It doesn’t sell your data to anyone.

Native iOS

Zephster is built with SwiftUI as a native iOS application. Not a web view wrapper. Not a cross-platform framework. Native Swift, optimized for iOS, with full support for platform features like widgets and Live Activities.

Why native? Because a flight tracking app needs to be fast, responsive, and battery-efficient. Native development lets us deliver all three without compromise.

Widgets and Live Activities

Track flights from your home screen with widgets that update in real time. When you’re following a specific flight, Live Activities show its progress right on your lock screen and Dynamic Island. These are iOS platform features that only work well with native development.

For Aviation Enthusiasts

Zephster is built for people who love aviation — plane spotters, frequent travelers, aviation professionals. It’s a tool for curiosity and utility, not a surveillance apparatus disguised as a consumer app.
