Edge-First Architecture
Goose runs on Cloudflare Workers with D1 for data — meaning your site is server-rendered at the edge, globally distributed, and fast everywhere. No origin server. No cold starts. No centralized infrastructure that can be subpoenaed for bulk data extraction.
Supabase handles authentication (email + OAuth), keeping auth data separate from content and commerce data. The architecture is deliberately distributed to minimize single points of data aggregation.
Commerce Without Compromise
When someone buys a workshop, subscribes to content, or downloads a digital product, the transaction goes through Stripe. No local card storage. No third-party analytics on purchase behavior. No retargeting pixels. No “you might also like” algorithms training on customer data.
